Dr. Fine is the kind of eye doc who makes you feel like your vision is being tuned by a master violinist—precise, graceful, and oddly poetic. I came in seeing the world like a foggy dream sequence, and he brought it back into focus like someone wiped the lens of reality. He’s got this calm, wizard-like energy and explains things with metaphors that somehow stick (he compared my retina to a satellite dish and I haven’t stopped thinking about it). North Vancouver’s lucky to have him. My eyeballs are now vibing in full HD.
