Dr Edwina Eade is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Forest Eye Surgery, Suite 11, 49 Frenchs Forest Road East, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086, where she provides advanced medical and surgical eye care; patients are encouraged to share their experiences and write a review to help others make informed choices.

Special interest

Her medical interests include oculoplastic, orbital and lacrimal surgery, ocular oncology, eyelid reconstruction, tear duct surgery, orbital disease management, and periocular skin cancer treatment. She has also contributed research in thyroid eye disease, orbital inflammation, and tumours of the eye and surrounding structures, reflecting her subspecialty expertise in complex ophthalmic surgery.

Education and training

MBBS (Hons) BSc MMed FRANZCO

Dr Eade graduated MBBS (Hons) from the University of Sydney, completed ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital including a senior registrar role at Westmead Children’s Hospital, earned a Master of Medicine in Ophthalmic Science from the University of Sydney, and undertook fellowships in ocular oncology at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia and in oculoplastic, orbital and lacrimal surgery at Royal Manchester Eye Hospital (UK) and Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital (Melbourne). She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (FRANZCO).
