The nurses in front desk are rude. After I waited in the Kingsway office more than one and half hour today, I asked them how long I still needed to wait . It was because my next appointment was half hour later. They unfriendly replied that they did not know. One of them told me that my unhappiness could not make them let me to see the doctor faster. At the end, she yelled back me to shut up and sit down. I left the office immediately without seeing the doctor. I don‘t know Dr Ma. But from his nurses, I believe that he does not respect the patients and their time.

This is my first time to see Dr. Ma last week (Feb 24, 2024) but I found that overall is good. Some staffs are very polite and I just spent within 1.5 hours then finished my appointment.

I had an emergency coming up so I have to reschedule my appointment with Dr Steven Ma. I went to the office one day and was told he works on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The front desk threw me his business card said I can call the number. I called 12 times at different times during the business hour today (Saturday) Unfortunately no one answered. The voicemail was too short to leave a message while the voice mail said I can leave a message. It’s 3:15pm in the afternoon and they closes at 4pm. I don’t know how to contact they unless I go to the office in person again…

I have experienced very different staff in Dr. Ma’s office at Burnaby. The technicians for field test and image are pretty friendly, patient and professional. But two of his assistants that I have met were just rude, period. They ignore patients’ inquiries even greetings like they’ve had enough. Don’t know where they got that arrogance from. Wonder if there is a place to complain about their bad attitude. If I don’t really need to go to see Dr. Ma I won’t go as the bad attitude of some of his staff always ruined my day.

I had a bad experience. he give me a medication for my eye. It made my eye very painful. I kept calling, and never an answer. I went to a drug store, and got to my eye antibiotic, which helped. Now I try to change my appointment, and answer ever.. So I can not change my appointment, and I wont be in Vancouver for a month,. And no answer on the phone again.
I hope they will read this, and send me a new appointment time
