Dr. Molly Lin is a compassionate Optometrist at Downtown Eye Care and The Contact Lens Department, located at 350 Sparks Street, Suite 216, Ottawa, ON K1R 7S8, where she provides advanced vision services in a clinic known for its patient-centered approach and innovative care; patients are encouraged to share their experiences and write a review to help others discover her attentive services.

Special interest

Her medical interests include comprehensive eye exams for all ages, dry eye diagnosis and management, advanced contact lens fittings including scleral and orthokeratology lenses, ocular disease detection and management such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration, as well as binocular vision assessments and post-concussion vision therapy. She is also passionate about lifelong learning and clinical research to advance optometric practice.

Education and training

Dr. Lin earned her Bachelor of Science from Western University and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo, both with Dean’s Honours List standing. She further broadened her expertise during clinical clerkships at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, gaining extensive experience in ocular disease management.
